What is the perfect engagement ring?
You are unique. And you deserve your own uniquely designed brilliant engagement ring. The 5 Cs of Diamonds… are just the beginning
Every jeweller you speak to will confirm; it’s the cut, clarity, colour, carat weight and certification of the diamond which will impact its brilliance. When light hits your finger you really want your diamond to sparkle.
But at Jacques D Jewellers, the diamond selection is only part of his process – he has coined the three P’s of ring design (Proportion, Practicality and Promise) to ensure not just a brilliant diamond but also the perfect fitting ring
Proportion
Just as a couture gown needs to accentuate all your curves and fit you perfectly, so does your engagement ring. Jacques assesses your hand size, finger dimensions and your height because it’s important for the ring to be in proportion with you. It makes the difference between a ring looking like it’s made just for you and a mass-produced, one-size-fits-all, ring.
Practicality
What do you do during the day? Do you work with patients, children or in an office? If you use your hands a lot during the day, your diamond may need to be more securely attached to your ring to ensure it doesn’t fall off. If your hands work less, then you can more confidently have fewer prongs holding the diamond in place.
Your ring shouldn’t be removed for work because you’re scared the diamond will fall off. We want you to enjoy showing off your ring.
Promise
The promise is your wedding/commitment, which results in a band. By understanding how your two rings will sit on your finger, Jacques ensures your engagement ring sits perfectly alone, as well as coupled with your wedding ring.
